Th’ Lip gets this question all the time, “What’s a good, cheap tequila?” This show is one answer to that question, Friends. Introducing “Teteo” blanco. Here’s a newcomer on the gourmet tequila scene that doesn’t feature an expensive, hand-blown bottle, nor a cork, nor an exceptional taste profile. Rather, with “Teteo” you get a good, solid, roasted agave taste with a surprising amount of chewy, mouthfeel. In fact, the viscous mouth and the pleasing finish of this blanco were its greatest features.
Currently only available in California, you can find “Teteo” at some of the bigger Ca-based online retailers. Lippy recommends this blanco as a great sipper while watching some serious War dramas (“Band of Brothers”) or perhaps a gripping suspense yarn. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how easily it goes down and how long it lasts on the back of the throat!
TEQUILA STATS:

GENERAL TASTING NOTES:
Teteo features a familiar if not exceptional flavor profile. While this inepensive blanco won’t “change your life”, it’s a sturdy sipper or mixer that features a great syrupy mouthfeel and a surprisingly long-lastng finish. Buy a few for party gifts and make alot of new friends really quickly!
